Winchcombe Rotary Club have invited our Club to this event as past participants: —

An invitation to Classics at Prescott 2022 — May 14th — 15th

As someone who has attended the Classics at Prescott event in the past I am sending you this notification of the 2022 date and the opportunity to make a booking for the upcoming event. We held our last event at Prescott in September 2021 rather than the usual May date, due to Covid, but we are reverting to our traditional Spring date in 2022 which will be 14 -15 May
The 2021 event was a great success for all who attended and also for Rotary charities. 2021 was year 18 for the event and the total monies which have been raised for charity over that period now stands in excess of £300,000. Winchcombe Rotary Club continues with the running of the event with all proceeds to charity and the organisation and running of the event done entirely by volunteers.

The format for 2022 will be similar to previous years with the option of attending either in the Paddock to run the hill or as part of our extensive Static Display. Classic vehicles over 25 years old are invited to take part in either activity although newer vehicles of interest will be considered at the organisers discretion.
Entry is by donation of £65 for Paddock and £20 for Static Display. This donation covers entry for the car, driver, and all passengers. Paddock entry includes two runs up the famous Prescott Hill and the Static entry includes the opportunity to take part in a gentle cavalcade up the hill, around lunchtime, to show off your Classic Car in motion.
The Hill Climb event is non competitive and untimed, passengers are allowed in the cars during the hillclimb, however all cars must be road legal (taxed and insured for purpose) and the drivers must hold a full, current driving licence. As all events at Prescott are now run under the regulations laid down by Motorsport UK anyone who uses the track (drivers, passengers, cavalcade) must hold a current Motorsport UK Clubman licence as a minimum. Your 2022 licence can be obtained free of charge online at Do make sure your licence is current i.e 2022 Season

On Saturday 14th May we will be once again running our Classic Cotswold Tour. This is becoming increasingly popular and we had to close bookings prematurely to control numbers last year. It is an all day event starting out at the Royal Oak in Gretton where breakfast baps and hot drinks are available to purchase before setting off on a 80 mile(ish) tour of the beauty spots of the Cotswolds. Again entry is by donation (£25) and the tour is refreshed every year so it is always an enjoyable experience even if you have done it before.

Last year we very successfully arranged bookings via our registration forms on our website this reduced paperwork and postage. All the detail you need is covered on the Classics at Prescott pages, and here are links to the registration pages: -

No payment is expected on application, once your application is submitted you will receive further details to enable you to complete your entry. Finally if you do not wish to be contacted in relation to this event in the future then please reply to this email to that effect and I will take you off the circulation.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Best Wishes
Steve Wilkinson
