The Event

The Weaver Wander is an annual classic car tour starting from south Cheshire and heading out along the quieter and lesser known roads of Cheshire, the Peak District, Staffordshire and occasonally North Wales.

The Organisers

This run is organised by the Rotary Club of Crewe & Nantwich Weaver and will take place on Saturday 16th May, 2026. Entry forms will be available on this web site – https://weaverwander.co.uk/ in early January 2026.

Details:

In recent years the start has been at the Crewe Vagrants Sports Club. This year we will register for the event at the Crewe Vagants and have a tea/coffee and bacon bap before we progress to the formal start in the very centre of Nantwich in front of crowds of public onlookers!

The route book is an easy to follow tulip diagram style plus the route is shown on maps. But if all else fails – follow the car ahead, assuming they know what they are doing!

The routes:

The entrants will set off on 3 routes of 70 miles and a shorter route of 50 miles through the counties of Cheshire, Shropshire & Staffordshire returning to a venue close to the start point.
