2 Aug: Saxbys Cider Car Show

Another new event!

Tony Sighe is organising our attendance at the Saxbys Car Show on 2nd August.

Tony is hoping to take the green race car along (or any other S800 that is ready). Marc Hughes will bring at least one of his S800s. We'll also put word out to encourage several others that showed an interest in this event (we have space for up to 7 s800s!).

Who are Saxbys?

Saxbys is a cider maker and they are offering a 90 minute tour of their facilities and orchard for £20 a head – provisionally booked from 10:30 with a welcome drink and the tour running from 11am to 12:30. This is something we'd need to arrange in advance and I think there's a minimum of 15 people for it to be viable (£300).

Other items on show:

As well as our S800s on display plus an eclectic range off other classics, Saxbys is also the place where Marc stores his fabulous collection of pedal cars – and he will give us a tour of them.

Timings:

The show starts at 10am – we should try and be there around 9:30am or earlier. We have a reserved space for 7 S800s showing as the Honda S800 Sports Car Club.
