About the Event

For many years we have attended the Silverstone Classic with those great guys in the S2000 Club – S2KUK. This year the event has split into two elements – the event at the end of August is now CarFest with the bands, food tents, kids entertainment and new cars but no racing. The BRDC racing event is now at the end of July – with all the classic car clubs, classic car merchandise etc that we have loved down the years. There is also the Iconic classic car auction. All that's missing from our point of view compared to previous years is the music – although of late that has been a bit hit and miss (excuse the pun!)

The BRDC Classic is a landmark celebration of historic motorsport, shaped by the involvement of the British Racing Drivers’ Club, the longstanding guardians of British racing excellence whose members include some of the world’s most accomplished drivers. Their dedication to preserving the sport’s heritage ensures the event is an authentic tribute to the machines, the heroes, and the eras that defined global motorsport. Together with Silverstone, the BRDC honours the past while inspiring the next generation, delivering a weekend of unforgettable on-track action.

How Can We Attend?

Those great guys at S2KUK have extended a welcome arm to us to display our cars on their stand. When I say 'stand' – it's a bit more than a few cars in a field.... Those guys have extensive tentage, tea, coffee, chairs, seats, tables, drinks, food and of course Pimms!

More About The Event

The weekend will be jam packed with track action and off track will be 1,000s of cars on club displays plus interviews with motorsport personalities, and the exceptional auction. It really is an unmissable event and a club favourite.

We welcome all S2000s, S800s, S600s, N600s, Z600s, N360s and air cooled 1300 coupes on stand; whether you have a pristine garage queen, a daily delight, completely standard or modified beast, variety is the spice of club life. We will be offering the usual selection of refreshments (and the ever popular beige buffet) so buy your ticket today so you don't miss out!
