We are sorry to advise you that as a result of the UK's Online Safety Act (OSA) coming into force in March 2025 we have had to take our Forum offline. We are hopeful that this is just a temporary measure.

The Act makes it encumbant on all organisations, including car clubs, to make various risk assessments about forums and their usage. To us it seems to be the proverbial 'sledgehammer to crack a nut', given we have never had any problems in the past, but we are required to comply with this new Act. Crucially we need to demonstrate that we have implemented its provisions.

Your committee is determined to restore this valuable element to the website at an early stage, if at all possible.

UPDATE: As at 14th April we are still working our way through the legislation. We can see a solution in sight now and we hope to have the forum back on line within a couple of weeks.
